Google Play Account Setup
This page describes how to create and set up a Google Play account.
Existing Google Play Account
If the client already has a Google Play account:
- Invite the Futured account (
ops@futured.app
) to the client's Google Play Console. - Configure the appropriate permissions based on project requirements. We recommend granting Admin access, which enables Futured to fully manage the app, including version uploads, tester management, store presence (descriptions, screenshots, and other assets) and very importantly - CI/CD setup.
- Proceed to Setting up your app in Google Play Console.
New Google Play Account
This step has to be done by the client - the new account owner.
The account creation process varies depending on whether you're creating a personal or organization account.
Start the registration process here: Google Play Console Signup.
For detailed instructions, consult the Play Console Getting Started Guide.
